Palomar Medical Per Diem Clinical Trainer
Summary
Seeking nurses or PAs to
become part of a team providing in-service training to our customers
on the most advanced laser and pulsed light systems for aesthetic
applications. A minimum commitment of two clinical in-service
trainings per month is required, with additional time as necessary
for administrative duties. Must have current experience with Palomar
Pulsed Light and Laser products.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.
- Initial contact with customer to schedule training and
advise of preparation required
- Perform in-service training at customer site for equipment
purchased
- Completion of Training Reports to document training
- Issue training certificates to participants in attendance at
in-service training
- Follow-up call to the customer post training for customer
support
- Maintain own training schedule and coordinate travel
arrangements as needed
- Participation in quarterly webinars to keep current with
products and training techniques
Qualifications/Requirements
- Must be RN, NP, LPN, LVN, PA, or MD (must have current and
active license)
- Experience in a clinical environment using Palomar lasers
and pulsed light systems for cosmetic applications
- Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
- Excellent record keeping and organization skills
- Laptop computer
- May include weekends
- Must be available to travel
- Computer literate (Outlook, PowerPoint)

The Job:

Provide in-service laser training to physicians,
nurses and other allied health practitioners including theoretical
and hands-on instruction on device operation and safe application to
patients.

Provide ad-hoc training to
employees and new hires as requested.
The
Requirements:
-
Superior Facilitation and
presentation skills
-
Licensed RN (Registered Nurse) or similarly qualified
health professional - Preferred
-
Superb Customer service exposure and skills,
preferably within the health and cosmetic
industry
-
Experience in dermatology and/or plastic surgery
-
Computer skills, strong and clear communication and
reporting skills
-
Previous laser experience is strongly preferred and
there is extensive on-the-job training
and education of Syneron
products
The Working
Conditions:

Because of the
nature of Syneron’s activities and requirements, additional
hours of work will be required and incumbent in this position is
expected to provide this time in support of his/her
responsibilities, beyond regular business hours

traveling, mainly throughout the Region, is involved, to
support all business and clinical activities of the Company
