Instagram Photo Challenge
Official Rules and Regulations
Eligibility
The Challenge is open to registered attendees of ASLMS 2019 who are age 18 or older at the time of entry. Exhibitors may submit entries as long as they are not promoting their company, booth, or a product or brand. ASLMS employees and their immediate family as are not eligible for entry.
Prize
$100 Amazon gift card. Prizes are non-transferable. The odds of winning a prize depend upon the number of individuals who participate in the challenge. Prize winners are responsible for any applicable federal, state and local taxes on their prize.
Winner Selection
Winners will be chosen randomly from all eligible entries received during the time period of the challenges. ASLMS will reach out to the winning entrant via Instagram message and the ASLMS mobile app by 10:00 AM the day following the Challenge.
Restrictions; Release of Liability; Additional Terms
The Challenge is void where prohibited or restricted by law, and is subject to all federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Participation in the Challenge constitutes entrant’s full and unconditional agreement to and acceptance of these Official Rules & Regulations. The Challenge is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with Instagram or Amazon.com. By participating, attendees confirm that they release Instagram of responsibility and agree to Instagram’s and Amazon’s Terms of Use.
ASLMS reserves the right to remove images or materials which, in its sole discretion, disparage persons or organizations, violate federal, state, or local laws, are in poor taste, or which are inconsistent with the standards of ASLMS. ASLMS also reserves the right to cancel, modify, or suspend the Challenge.
Entering the ASLMS Instagram Photo Challenge constitutes permission for ASLMS to use your photo and caption in any manner it deems necessary or appropriate on its website, social media, print publications, or any other media without compensation and in perpetuity. By submitting any photos or videos containing the names or images of any third parties, you also represent and warrant that you have the consent of all such third parties to use their names and/or images, and you further agree to indemnify, defend and hold ASLMS harmless from any claims or damages arising out of that use.
Neither ASLMS nor anyone involved in administering or providing prizes for the Challenge will have liability arising out of participation in the Challenge, including but not limited to technical malfunctions, including those arising from electronic, hardware, software, network, Internet or computer malfunctions.
