ASLMS 2024 Early Career Educational Support
ASLMS is offering the opportunity to offset registration fees for qualified students, residents, and fellows to attend the conference. Educational support will be based on current or previous service to the Society and/or agreement to serve on the ASLMS Host Committee (to help support activities at the conference, such as scanning badges at the classroom door or greeting attendees at an event). Limited opportunities are available (value up to $349).
This is available to ASLMS members who represent at least one status from the list below and are within a maximum of 7 years from start-date of post-doctorate training:
- Undergraduate Student
- Physician Students (Medical Student, Intern, enrolled in a current residency program, Fellow-in-Training doing patient-oriented research)
- Early Career Scientist Students (Graduate student or post-doctoral trainee currently involved full-time in biomedical laser research)
- Nursing/Allied Health Students

Key Dates
Application: The deadline to apply for early career support was February 22, 2024. Please email information@aslms.org if you are interested in joining the 2024 Host Committee.
Notification of application status: March 1, 2024 (please contact ASLMS if you are an international early career attendee)
*Note for Abstract Presenting Authors: If you applied for an Abstract Presenting Author Scholarship for ASLMS 2024, we encourage you to submit the application for this Early Career Educational Support as well. You can receive one scholarship or the other, but not both.
