Pediatric Laser Focus - Course

Participants This focus workshop is open to all designated participants that may be interested in the use of laser and energy devices as they specifically relate to children’s health.
Background Requirements Prior knowledge of laser and energy devices as they specifically relate to children’s health is helpful.
Educational Needs/Expected Learning Objectives Attendees will learn and discuss approaches for treatment of scars, vascular lesions and pigmented lesions in pediatric patients. Evidence will be reviewed on risks of laser treatment in teen patients taking isotretinoin. And finally, attendees will learn updated information on risks and benefits of anesthesia for pediatric patient.
