Continuing Education Credits

A statement of CME credit hours will be issued to you following the conference which you can forward to your specialty boards, specialty academies or to your State Medical Examining Boards to meet your continuing education requirements.


ACCME Accreditation Statement

The American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery, Inc. is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.


AMA PRA Credit Designation Statement

The American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery, Inc. designates these live activities for a maximum of (see credit maximums listed below) AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)TM. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activities.

REQUIREMENTS AND DEADLINES for CME Credit or CE Contact Hours

All Pre/Post-Tests and CME/CE Evaluations must be submitted via Electronic links on the ASLMS 2019 Mobile App.

Registered Courses, knowledge POwer Hours and workshops

To receive CME/CE credit hours, registered attendees must submit a completed Pre-Test, Post-Test and CME/CE Evaluation for each registered course, breakfast, luncheon or workshop session within 30 days of event end-date, which is April 30, 2019.

ANNUAL CONFERENCE SESSIONS

To receive CME credit hours for Annual Conference programming, which includes attendance of abstract and special CME sessions, registered attendees must submit an electronic CME Evaluation and document hours of attendance for each applicable session. Hours are calculated to the nearest quarter hour (.25) not including breaks. All submitted CME Evaluations will first be reviewed by the ASLMS central office before credit letters are distributed. Letters of CME credit will be emailed to attendees within 30 days of event end-date which is April 30, 2019

  • You may start your login two different ways:
  1. Launch the app and select Login in the upper right corner
  2. OR - Launch the app, select ASLMS 2019, go to the Menu (☰) in the upper left, and select Login
  • Email: you must enter the email address used for your conference registration
  • Password: aslms2019 (case sensitive)

LOCATING PRE/POST-TESTS AND CME/CE EVALUATIONS

For Registered Pre-Conference Courses, Breakfasts, Luncheons or Workshops

  • To receive CME/CE credit hours, registered attendees are REQUIRED to submit a Pre-test, Post-test and CME/CE Evaluation for EACH completed course, AM/PM knowledge power hour or workshop.
  • Go to the Menu (☰), select Agenda. Under the correct day, select the course title, then select the Pre-test, Post-test, CME/CE Evaluation links to complete all of the required items. Registered attendees will receive an email verification for each item completed. CME/CE credit letters will be emailed within 30 days post-conference.
  • DEADLINE - Submit your required documents IMMEDIATELY AFTER THE SESSION. NOTE – Documents will NOT be accepted after April 30th, 2019.

For Annual Conference Sessions

Courses must not be less than 60 minutes in length and attendees may not claim partial credit.

The programs above may be claimed as a Maintenance of Certification (MOC) activity by individuals who attend the sessions and who complete the self-assessment (Pre-Test and Post-Test) and evaluation forms.
