Abstract submission has now ended for the 2019 Annual Conference. Thank you!

You are invited to join the scientists, researchers, and clinicians who will present their work at the premier international meeting in the field of medical lasers and energy-based technologies.

Why submit an abstract?

  • The ASLMS Annual Conference is the world’s most prestigious gathering of medical laser and related technology professionals!
  • Approximately 70% of first-deadline submitted abstracts will be selected for oral and/or ePoster presentations.
  • Accepted abstracts are published in a special, online-only edition of Lasers in Surgery and Medicine, the internationally renowned journal of ASLMS.
  • Accepted ePosters are placed on electronic display at the conference and published on the ASLMS website following the conference for member-only viewing. A limited number of ePosters will be selected for presentation within the ePoster Town Hall.

    • Accepted ePosters are placed on electronic display at the Annual Conference and posted on the ASLMS website post-conference.

If at the time of submission you already know that you will be unable, or do not want to present orally, please email jaya@aslms.org

    • "Early Career" = Undergraduate students, graduate students, residents, interns, fellows-in-training, post-doctoral fellows, and associates up to 10 years postgraduate.
    • Early Career submitters must first submit their abstracts to a main presentation category (Basic Science, Cutaneous, Gynecology/Women's Health or Multi-Specialty) and indicate "YES" that the presenter qualifies for Early Career.
    • The designated abstracts will first be considered for presentation in the main session category they were submitted to. If not selected, the abstracts are then referred for a secondary review to the Early Career session or to ePoster.
